GUYS! I am just SO SO SO happy! I cannot express such happiness with such sincerity that you could understand! I have spent today listening to super happy tunes! YES! I’m listening to Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, Wouldn’t it Be Nice? by the Beach Boys, and Twist and Shout by The Beatles! IT DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THAT! ACTUALLY IT DOES! Last night, I went to my best friend’s 17th birthday party and it was SO SO SO fun! I got to see my old best friend, Stephen, and he was telling his many funny stories! OH IT WAS SO GREAT! And I miss those Franklin Central people! They are so funny! As CRAZY as it sounds, if I couldn’t go to Brebeuf, I would want to go back to FC JUST for those great people! I miss my best friends, ya know! But oh how happy I am! I want to share my happiness with you! So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to these songs! ESPECIALLY the Queen song! It is the best! I cannot stop listening to it!
After the class period we had for this assignment, I found myself distracted by other things and almost forgot about it. I became distracted from my journey. This may symbolize my easy distraction from the goal at hand.
When I was hunting, I didn’t find the clues all that difficult to decipher. A few of them, such as perserverance and heart, gave me difficulty. However, I eventually figured them out. I also chose to take the journey alone. I occasionally had a little assistance from other students, but that was not because I asked; it was usually because I accidentally overheard someone say it in the hallway.
I decided to hunt for courage, discernment, humor, joy, heart, patience, perserverance, wisdom, strength, and humility. I felt that these all would help me in my journey for eccentric originality.
Courage: I would need courage to be able to even stand out among the masses and make my eccentric self known.
Discernment: I must be able to discern between what is being original for myself and being original for others. There is a fine line between the two, but only one is truly retrieving a boone and changing the world. If am original for others, then that is just asking for attention and creating drama. If I am original for myself, then I can say that I am truly being myself and can help bring about a true appreciation for individuality (which is my boone in my hero journey).
Humor: I must have a sense of humor to keep my individuality. And I have to be able to make fun of myself as well. One cannot be truly individual if they cannot laugh at themselves. Inability to laugh at oneself shows insecurity with one’s individuality. Also, humor is an important quality of my own personal individual character.
Joy: I have to ENJOY being myself and carrying out my jolly hero journey
Heart: I have to put my heart into being myself and to encourage others to be follow their own hearts.
Patience: It takes a lot of patience to be accepting of oneself sometimes, especially for me. Also, people are not always willing to accept who you are and you must have patience to get through that.
Perserverance: I need perserverance to make sure I am ALWAYS remaining myself and expressing who I really am.
Wisdom: I think wisdom is needed to stay in line so that I know I’m really being myself and not someone else’s version of me.
Strength: I have to remain strong in who I am and what I’m getting out of this world. And everyone needs to be strong sometimes to get through life.
Humility: I can be myself, but I don’t want to go around thinking I’m better than everyone because I’m accepting myself. I need to keep my personality while still remaining humble about myself.
When finished, I realized I had 7 medicines. The symbolism for the number seven is a state of unrest. Sin and redemption combined. This, to me, means that these qualities can be hard to uphold in a balanced state. Because it is easy to have too much of something like joy and forget about a quality such as humility. It is easy to get stuck in an arrogant place when reaching for individuality, but if these qualities can be balanced properly, then individuality and eccentricity can be expressed properly.
Today, and approximately a week in the past, I introduce the lastest trend to the world: ANKLE WATCHES!

1. You can forget about the fact that you’re really late for that job interview that determines your future!
2. When your minions wish to know the time, they may check your ankle while kissing your feet.

So I just remembered my dream from last night. Prepare yourself its a weird one. (And mind you, this is only a very very small portion of it)
Okay. Here we go.
So, I was in CVS and I was roaming the isles and I occasionally talked to someone (I vaguely remember a lady with a stroller….maybe I had a stroller. I dont know). Then I remember stopping in front of a shower curtain and Meredith from The Office was sticking her head around the side of it as though she were showering (I think she was- see! weird right?) and some dude was behind her [shady business] and I think I asked her where something was and she directed me to the herbs and spices. I remember standing in front of the herbs and spices but I guess I came back to Meredith. She answered some questions and suddenly we were in this hotel-room-like-room, ya know with the two beds and all that…Yeah, and we were talking and then she passed out on the bed opposite of the one I was sitting on. She was holding a knife but that hadn’t really been there before. I suddenly had this horrible fear for my life for a moment and right after that, she woke up and looked at me with this zombie-savage expression. Her hair was suddenly wet and scraggly and she held up the knife and jumped onto the bed I was sitting on. I cowered in the corner as she made stabbing motions at me. It was as though she wasn’t herself and she was just another form of herself that was going crazy and didn’t know what she was doing. She made the stabbing motions with the knife at me, never actually hitting me, then she jumped to the other bed again, still crazy, and then I think I woke up.
SO, anyone have a diagnosis for me? Or a dream interpretation? If you wish to try, I wish you the best of luck. *shakes your hand*
SO, I have been playing with this photoshop-similar program called GIMP. I’ve been taking black and white photos that I’ve found on the internet and adding little touches of color to them to make them look cool. Some are better than others and I definately can get a lot better. But here are a few of them:
